Wedding Day - Bridal Emergency Kit

Every bride's best friend on her wedding day

It is vital that every bride prepare herself a Bridal Emergency Kit, just in case. You never know when you will get a blister from your new shoes, when a sudden thumping headache will set in or when you can ladder your stockings

Below is a checklist of the essential items for your emergency kit, to ensure peace of mind and the minimum of stress on your big day!

What You will need:

  • A small sewing Kit consisting of pins, buttons, thread the colour of your wedding gown, safety pins, sewing tape (for emergency hemming), two extra pairs of your Wedding stockings, dressmakers chalk (for emergency cover-ups), superglue (when all else fails!)
  • Headache pills, plasters, tampons, eye-drops, lip-ice, any prescription medication you may take
  • A mini beauty kit consisting of face powder, lipstick, mascara, hair pins, purse size hairspray, comb, clear nail polish (for ladders in stockings), purse size fragrance
  • A mobile phone and a complete list of phone contacts of everyone involved in the wedding day
  • A detailed map of directions to the church, just in case your driver gets lost……
  • A bottle or two of the finest bubbly, to crack open when all emergencies are taken care of (or if it all gets TOO out of hand!)
